born: wichita, kansas, usa
education:
Trained in Architecture at one of the top schools in the country, Erin explores form, texture, detail and craft in a variety of mediums to transcend a preconceived notion of design.
From an early age, Erin developed a fascination for the intricacies and iterations of individual handwriting and the power of words and type. This passion ultimately led her to graphic design as an extension of her ongoing architectural studies and a companion to enrich and surpass traditional architecture.
She integrates the methods of sewing, drawing, knitting, collage and digital design as methods for achieving a hybridized, flexible style.
Her professional experience includes six years in the design field, with five years spent in graphic design and strategic marketing for a prominent Midwest architectural firm.
She is now responsible for the design and implementation of a number of current and future publications for the sustainable publisher, Ecotone.
