When one of Southern California's largest IT consulting firms, Los Angeles-based technology provider CPI Solutions was looking to visually network the wide spectrum of their company's services, they hired softfirm to conceptualize an interactive, on-line solution that would enhance the user experience and represent the innovative solutions CPI provides. The site prototype proposed two unique features that would tie directly into the company’s future oriented business development practice – the "lens" and “My CPI”.
The lens, an interactive dial, represents all the practice areas and specialties of the company, along with CPI's partner solutions. Allowing users to understand the synergies between CPI's practice areas and illuminate the relevance of additional services by interacting with the interactive functions of the lens.
My CPI, conceived as repository tool, allows website visitors to transmit collected information to themselves or others from the website. Via a function similar to an online shopping cart, site visitors are able to easily collect and store links and visual information on CPI's services and later email themselves or others portfolios of information. This service is provided to users while rich analytic information is collected on site utilization, allowing CPI to easily evaluate visitor interest in service areas and further target business development efforts.
